It’s that time of year again where the Club is looking to lock in our Head Coaches for the 2026 season.  If you would like to apply or re-apply for a Head Coach Role please read below and complete the jotform by Friday 3rd October.  It is expected that Coaches will be announced by end of October, Assistant Coaches will be selected after this process.

Role Overview:

As a junior football coach, you will play a crucial role in developing the skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship of our young players. Your responsibilities will include planning and conducting training sessions, leading match day activities, and providing mentorship and support to players.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and implement training programs tailored to various age groups and skill levels.

● Conduct engaging and educational training sessions.

● Encourage teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude among players.

● Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club officials.

● Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Qualifications:

● Previous coaching experience is preferred but not essential.

● Strong understanding of AFL.

● Excellent communication and leadership skills.

● Ability to motivate and inspire young players.

● Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., AFL Level 1 Coaching Accreditation) can be obtained once signed up.
