CLUB WIDE -AGM - MJFC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - 12/11/2024 7PM

Greetings to all our bulldog families,

This message is to formally notify all of the upcoming Annual General Meeting for Mornington junior football club.

Our club’s Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for 12/11/2024 at 7pm

The committee would love to extend an open invitation to all parents/guardians to join us at this meeting.

The meeting will be held at Alexandra Park, the Seniors club, Main st Mornington.

To be able to have a successful AGM we do require a minimum attendance of at least 10% of our players families represented at the meeting and therefore we need support from you all.
If you are unable to attend this meeting yourself the committee would appreciate it if you are able to nominate a ‘Proxy’ to vote on your behalf, this helps make sure we reach at least our minimum attendance of 10% of family representation or ‘a quorum’. The voting is used if there is more than one person nominating for a role for incoming committee roles.

To nominate a proxy please send an email to secretary@morningtonjfc.com stating the following:

’I (state your full name) hereby nominate (state name of your proxy) to be my proxy vote for the 2024 AGM.

If you are having trouble finding someone to be your proxy you are able to ask any of our existing committee members to be a proxy for you.

Please take a moment and go to the events tab and RSVP your attendance for the AGM, so we can keep track of numbers.

Our great club is growing from strength to strength, run completely by amazing volunteers and looking ahead to 2025 we need additional help and support from our bulldog families to continue this success, we would love more people to join our committee and volunteer time to help shape the future for our children’s football club.
As per the annual process all club roles for the 2025 season are open to anyone to nominate themselves for and to do so please complete the form link prior to the AGM:

Club roles are:

President
Secretary
Vice president Football
Vice president Club
Treasurer
Communications
Auskick coordinator
Sponsorship Lead/ team
Head Trainer
Additional volunteers to join the fundraising/social events sub committee
Equipment manager
General committee members

There are a few paid roles that will open up for the 2025 season:
Canteen coordinator
Cleaner
Administration

These roles will be advertised shortly for applicants to apply for.
