Hello again,

Further to my earlier email, please see attached the latest update from the AFLSE confirming the delay to the start of the football season till 1 June.

To confirm again, all training, practice matches and club events are to be cancelled effective immediately. The Executive Committee is meeting via Teams (online app) tomorrow so we can continue to plan for the season and where, possible, we must moved forward.

During this time please stay connected as a team via Team App as this can be an isolating time for some and people need to know their friends and team mates are around – even if not in person.

During this break, encourage your kids to take some time to read the great footy books and magazines available, watch old or new footy videos, research your favourite footy team or practice your ball handling skills (away from any precious vases or frames in the house).

This will pass and we will ensure that as soon as we are able to do so, we will come back together as a club and gear up for a great season ahead.
